On July 24, 2014, Victor Eassa, 85, joined his beloved wife, Marcelle, to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. Victor was a resident of West Palm Beach, Florida where he enjoyed his retirement years as a member of the Bear Lakes Country Club. He was born, raised and lived many years of his life in Syracuse, New York where he thoroughly enjoyed being a member of the Bellevue Country Club. Victor was richly blessed by numerous friends and family and lived a full and admirable life. He had a profound and memorable impact on the lives of those who knew him. He was predeceased in death by his wife, Marcelle; his older brother, Frank (Sadie) Eassa; nephew, Neil Eassa; and his parents, Andrew and Penelope Eassa. Victor leaves behind three children and their spouses, Jeffrey and Carol Eassa, Kevin and Stephanie Eassa, Renee and Andrew Villa; eight endearing grandchildren, Christine, Joseph, David, Kevin, Daniel, Victor, Michael and David who were the source of so much joy and pride for him; sister, Rita (William) Abraham; and brother, Leslie (Sharon) Eassa. His family also included three generations of nephews and nieces who will always remember Uncle Vic. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home at 3180 Bellevue Avenue, Syracuse. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church, 4988 Onondaga Road, town of Onondaga. Donations may be made to St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church in memory of Victor Eassa.
