Obituary of Harvey Sakran

Harvey Sakran, 87, passed away Sunday, October 30th at home with his family by his side. He was born to the late Mary and Nick Sakran on August 1, 1929. He is predeceased by his wife, Doreen Sakran of 46 years. He is survived by his brother, Fred (Katie) Sakran and sisters, Helen Michaels and Gladys Cavallo, seven children, Jerry, Nick, Donald, Harveen Delello, Debbie Darling, Mitchell, and William, as well as 29 grand children, 37 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. Harvey proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was the cofounder with his wife of Valley Cleaners. He was a predominate entrepreneur that built several businesses and plazas. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 10am at Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Ave. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6 to 9pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Burial will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to Hospice of CNY, 990 7th N St, Liverpool, NY 13088.
