My deepest sympathies to the Savage family and to Linda’s many, many friends. This is a sad and untimely loss for us all.
Linda is an unforgettable person in my life. My best memories are those of camp at Sandy Pond. Linda could make even a chilly and rainy day a blast. We played endless cards and board games, and I know lots of times she let us beat her so we wouldn’t get bored. No matter what the weather, though, she’d always get us down to Scotty’s dock eventually. We would play king of the raft until we were exhausted. Sometimes she would laugh so hard that water would shoot out of her nose, sending us all flying into hysterics. Mary Beth, I bet you’ll remember the time we took your family’s sailboat out, and we were becalmed in front of the Bayview. A breeze kicked up unexpectedly, and you were thrown off the bow into the water. Linda was able to get you back into the boat, despite the fact that we were almost helpless with laughter. Then there was the time we took the rowboat with the little outboard on it over to the boat beach, which we weren’t supposed to do. On the way back, the motor fell off! Somehow we got it back on and rowed halfway across the pond to get back. I can also remember sneaking a couple of cans of beer from the garage fridge and partying under the sailboat tarp with a flashlight down at the dock while the grownups were busy playing poker at the dining room table. And oh, what fun it was in Grand Central, trading bird calls - and other noises - back and forth with the boys in the next room (Beetlebaum?).
Linda was a wonderful cousin whom I loved dearly. She will surely be missed. Heaven has a new angel, and she’s in great company.

Amanda, I am so sad to hear about the loss of your mom. I have great memories of your mom when I was younger coming up to your house and babysitting you. She was a very kind, sweet woman. I saw your mom about a month ago and was so happy to see her and catch up, because it had been years. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
