Obituary of Linda M. Savage

Linda M. Savage of Syracuse passed away at Upstate University Hospital at Community General on Sunday, June 22. Born to the late William R. and Marjorie E. Savage, Linda was a lifelong resident of Syracuse and a graduate of Most Holy Rosary High School. For over 30 years, Linda was employed by Crouse Hospital in the Dietician Department as an Administrative Assistant. Linda's most joyous moments were with her daughter, Amanda, and grand-daughter, Juztyce, spending time during the summer months at the family camp on Sandy Pond. Surviving to cherish her memory is her only daughter, Amanda Savage (Albert Cannon) and grand- daughter, Juztyce Scott. She is also survived by three brothers William R. Savage (Meg) of Florida, John P. Savage (Anne), and Gary J. Savage (Charlene) both of Syracuse. Linda is survived by a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many beloved friends. Meme, thank you for the Scrabble game memories we will all treasure. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25 at 10 a.m. at Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Ave, Syracuse, NY 13207. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 24 at Edward J. Ryan Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave., Syracuse, NY 13219. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at DaVita CNY Dialysis Center. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Central New York, 731 James Street, Suite 200, Syracuse, NY 13203.
