Aunt Gen was a wonderful, fun loving and caring woman. I remember the old days, when she lived on the West side and we would stop by after church to visit. Always quick with a smile, and always welcoming. She did an outstanding job of raising her five children, my cousins, on her own. As time passed and she met her kind husband Jim..they were a great match...the joy, happiness, and laughs continued. Since moving to NC, I rarely got the chance to see her, or my cousins, but the memories are still there.. a life lived well, for others...bring joy to the lives she touched.
