I worked with Anita at Niagara Mohawk/National Grid and I honestly can't recall one time when I didn't see a smile on Anita' face. She was the kind of coworker who made going to work enjoyable. My condolences to Larry, and to Anita's children. She will genuinely be missed.

Larry,
It was a privilege and honor knowing Anita. She conducted her life with quiet dignity, bravery and kindness. Living next door to you and your family for over 20 years, I don't ever recall her not being friendly, bitter and always with a sense of humor. A smile that always welcomed you no matter what she was facing or feeling. Larry, it had to be hard to see her suffering, but it never stifled your hope and optimism. No one could ever say that you were not a supportive and caring husband who did all that he could for her.

I am sure that you realize how much your mother loved you both. She was your biggest fan and so proud. You two are the epitome of what loving, devoted children are. Your character, work ethic and faith are testimonies of how your parents' helped raise you. Remember that she lives on through you both.

As a retired Niagara Mohawk employee knowing Anita & Larry was a bright spot during my employment. Anita's perpetual smile, positive attitude, professionalism, genuine caring disposition endeared her to everyone who knew/and or worked w/her. Larry & Anita are exactly the kind of people that you want to know, work with & share a memory with if you are lucky enough to know them personally. I was saddened by Anita's passing when I heard of it last week. I worked with her at Niagara Mohawk and National Grid for many years and enjoyed all of our interactions. She was professional and good at her job. A nice person, too. She will be missed. Condolences to her family.

Anita was just one of the best people I have ever met. She fought a long battle with her health but you would never know it from her smile and laugh. I will never forget the fun all of us at Beacon North had planning the employee day bbq and all of the other fund raisers for charity that we did. Anita was always right there to volunteer. She made my time at Beacon very special when sometimes it was stressful. i will always remember her smile. I hope her family takes comfort in how much people enjoyed working with her.

I never worked with anyone sweeter or more professional than dear Anita. Her passing is really heartbreaking. Larry, I am so sorry for your loss. Ryan and Catrina, you had the best Mom ever. Larry, Ryan, Catrina, Mrs. Simiele, MT, Carol and family: My heartfelt condolences, Anita had so much love, spirit and strength. I have been thinking about all the times we spent together, the first sound that comes to mind is her laugh. She is someone I have always looked up to, I have always been a fan of her spirit. The Simiele home was my home away from home, many great talks, epic ping pong games and laughing until we fell over, these will forever be memories I will cherish.I will miss her every day. I had the privilege of working with Anita at National Grid for 30 years. She truly was an angel on earth. She always epitomized the utmost professionalism and work ethic.
