Clan Detor...So sorry to hear about Charlie’s passing and know we’re thinking about you all in these coming days. We’ll never forget his laughs especially at how we could let Jeffrey live in our dining room for so long... :)
He has lots of good company up there, that’s for sure. Hugs to you all.

I knew Charlie for over 30 years at Niagara Mohawk, both Nancy and Charlie were at our wedding 50 years ago. Always a joy being with Charlie his jokes and his stories of the Honor Guard at the White House! Besides Mark you couldn't ask for a bigger fan of the Yankees, no doubt they will be in the World Series this year with Charlie cheering them on!
Our prayers for Nancy and a great family!

Nancy, Mark, Jeff, Paul and Sarah, I am so sorry for your loss. How lucky I was to be able to grow up on the same block as Chuck and his family, my first friends. I have many wonderful memories of Breakspear Rd, and will miss him, too. I'm sure Charlie and Bob are having a drink on the back porch already!

Dear Nancy, Jeffrey, Mark, Paul, and Sarah,
Sweet Charlie (and Nancy, also) was our angel for many years in helping to care for my parents, Vic and Dorothy Cinq-Mars. He was my "partner in crime" when it came to all business and other needs and I could not have functioned without him in charge while I lived out of town. We shared a lot of good times, but also some tough ones.
He was my rock, and I will forever be grateful that God gave him to us.
Be happy in heaven, dear, sweet Charlie!

I knew Charlie from Niagara Mohawk (not Grid) before he retired & I remember him as a true gentleman w/a great sense of humor who could tell ya a joke, but was more than capable of getting the job done. I can still hear is voice, his laughter, banter & bigger than life personality; that's the type of fella he was & I'm smiling just thinking of him in that way. Sincere condolences to his cherished family, he was one of the great ones in many ways.
