I had the pleasure of being Coached by Bill when I was a young Kid. He was an outstanding coach and a better man! Years later during my playing and coaching career he would either show up at a game or send me a letter wishing me well. Very special Man. Sorry for your Loss Teddy Klamm

I met Bill several times while I was at my dads grave. We would always joke because he said that he and Sarah were Huge Yankees Fans ..and my dad "next door" was a Huge Red Sox Fan...I'd tell him my dad is probably down there having huge arguments with her about being a Yankees fan......He took it well but told me I needed to get rid of the Boston Red Sox planter....I met Laura a women who walked with her dog) at their grave site today and we both shared was a nice man he was...then when she said he died on August 23rd..I was what...my dad died that day too !!! So The Yankees and Red Sox fans have at least something in common ...My sympathy to your family !

To Bill's Family, my dog Penny and I have walked in the Vet's for over 2 years since my mom died and saw Bill there frequently, too!!We started talking and occasionally we would stay long enough to hear TAPS being played!
Bill was a very sweet man, and we enjoyed seeing him. He would throw the ball high in the air and get such a kick out of my dog Penny catching the ball time after time!!
I wasn't able to go Thursday to walk and was shocked to see the grave had been unearthed!! I am so very sorry for your loss and I will certainly keep Bill in my daily prayers!!Peace be with all of you and your families!!

What a legacy this man has left behind. From the moment Mike became a member of the “Tetzloff” family I have heard stories about his dad. So fortunate to have met him and saw for myself what an icon he was. Loved his stories!! A man loved by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was blessed as were all those who knew him! So saddened at his passing.

To the Family of Bill,
22 Years ago your Dad and his buddies walked into our new restaurant and held court almost on a daily basis! Our shop will never be the same. Bill doled out advice daily and solved the problems of the world. He was always willing to listen to our crazy stories and had more than a few himself! To say he'll be missed, is an understatement. The booth we dedicated to the "Krebs on the Hill Boys" will be a constant reminder of a friendship that meant the world to us. Love from the Velasko Girls

Lots of fond memories.
Driving down to Yankee Stadium for a double header while still in grade school to watch Mantle & Maris duel for 60. Driving up to Watertown with you and your brother to watch the Leafs game on a 12" TV with rabbit ear antenna. Couldn't see anything but snow, but the announcers were great. Golf at Bellevue and Tuscarora where you were patient with my crappy golf game.
I'll always be grateful to you and Aunt Sal for finding the the time to have breakfast or stop by the house to catch up when I was back in town. Tough times but you were always there.
Condolences to my loving cousins. My thoughts are with you, your kids and grandchildren through all the tears of the next few weeks. Your Dad was a great teacher of life, love and family values. I'll miss him dearly.
Hugs n Luv
Billy
