Jim Manning was a kind, generous, and caring person. He was the best uncle, a great dad, and devoted husband; he was concerned, giving, and genuine with his community service. As astounding feature of Jim was how he remembered people's names and their accomplishments, and their stories, and listened with sincere interest -- and in this way, when he spoke to individuals, he demonstrated his appreciation for, and concern for, them. I am so sorry for all of us over his loss, but am deeply grateful for knowing him, and for having had him in my life for so many years.
He will be dearly missed, and not forgotten.
