I was so sad to learn of the passing of Martha, my childhood friend and schoolmate. Martha was always someone I admired for her personality and ambition to achieve her goals. We joked about our resemblance in appearance as kids and how teachers confused us and both being middle children of a big family with fathers that were policemen. I was so glad to run into her a couple years ago and shared a good laugh. My deepest condolences to all Martha’s loved ones. She will truly be missed.

We wish all of you great memories for a great lady. And of course Martha had a presence that will always be with you. Be at peace as we know that she now is. Be comfortable in your grieving and soon you'll be laughing again thinking about all the love she gave to you.
Personally I'll always remember the "lecture" she gave me for stepping onto someone's yacht in Florida and having one of their beers! Once a cop always a cop. HeHe.

No words can make the hurt go away. Martha was always a light in the mayhem, I will never forgot her smile and humor even when the situations were tense. Made all of us be at ease when it was needed. Martha must have been born with her fists in the air...determined to fight her way through life, because she did just that! Especially these last few years. Dear Bill,
We were shocked and saddened by the unexpected death of Martha. You have our deepest sympathy. We know it hasn’t been easy since Martha was first ill a couple years ago. For such a vibrant fun woman to have any limitations was crushing...
Martha was certainly blessed with so much support to help her in that struggle.
But now, it is times like this that put our faith to the test.
