So sorry to hear the sad news and for your family's loss. Bob and Mary were what you want in neighbors: friendly, responsible, and caring. We have fond memories of chatting with Bob over the hedges that he took such good care of even though he believed they were our hedges. We enjoyed watching their family grow up along with their dogs, Kojak and Josie. And we never minded throwing all those balls back in their yard.
Looking next door reminds us of those times and the McMahons are missed.
Our sympathy to the family.
Tom and Diana

"Mr. McMahon" and Mrs. McMahon were lifelong friends of my father and mother.
I remember growing up, he would ask me, "Gannon! How are you doing.. How are you REALLY doing!" and I would tell him everything going on, and then he would offer some thoughtful advice.

I was saddened to hear about the recent death of your father, but realize these last few years have been a challenge for him. I met such wonderful people and families during my years at Lourdes, and your family is certainly one. Your father and mother were the salt of the earth and such a faith filled couple. Getting to know them and all of you was a gift for me. I can never forget our trip to Ireland-----so many laughs during the trip and after. I was making every effort to join in the liturgy today, but responsibilities in the parish hindered my effort. Know you have been in my prayers as you mourn your Dad's death, but I know in true McMahon spirit you celebrate al life well lived. As you gather to say goodbye and commend him to God, you do so with grateful hearts for 91 grace-filled years of living. In finding God, Bob has shown you and all of us God, as well. With you in spirit and prayer. fr. Tim

Your DAD was legendary at the Cathedral Breakfast Program and throughout Syracuse. Such a good man. Bob treated all of us, his co-volunteers and guests alike. He made us all feel so comfortable and welcome. It was such a privilege to have known and worked with both your Mom and Dad. We are so sorry for your loss. Know that our prayers are with you.

My parents, Bob and Virginia Warne, have wonderful memories of time spent socializing with Bob and Mary and the whole St. Mike's Group. Especially memorable were the Super Bowl Sundays that rotated year to year among this group of friends. For years my father met Bob and other guys for lunch on Fridays at Wheeler's. Now my parents are too feeble and infirm to even attend Bob's wake or funeral, but they want to let the whole McMahon clan know how much they appreciated and remember Bob.

To the McMahon clan, I am
sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. He was such a big part of our lives on Wellesley Road. My favorite memories of him is when he would take us to Pleasant Lake to watch the baseball playoffs and the many barbecues in your backyard. God bless him and you in this difficult time.

Dear Kevin, Sean, Terry, Brendan, Patrick, Tim, Rory and all of Bob's Family,
I am so sorry for your loss, but I know you must take great comfort in your glorious memories and the fact that Bob is happily reunited with his beloved Mary. I can hear her laugh as she greeted him at Heaven's Gate. Like all of you, the Morrows have such great memories of fun times on Wellesley Road.
I wish I could see you all on Sunday and Monday, but I am not going to be home. I hold you all in my prayers and in my heart. Rest In Peace, Bob; you were one of a kind and one of the best.
