I am sending along sympathy and condolences on the death of our first "hospitality guy" on behalf of the former members of the Sawdust & Woodchips Woodworking Assoc., now the Woodworkers of Central New York. Before things became difficult, Charlie was always there with a helping hand, willing to support me and the rest of the group in whatever way he could. He listened intently to speakers, asked questions, and handled our refreshments for many years. We already missed your smiling face at meetings and will miss you more. Bless you.
Charlie Wright, what a great guy. I never called him Charlie. It was always Mr. Wright. I remember him driving Phil and me to school in his Chevy with the 3 speed on the column. I think it was an impala, maybe a bel air. Also, on one Saturday, Mr. Wright took Phil and me to the Jiffy King Sub Shop in downtown Syracuse, across from the post office. My first sub; what a great experience. I will always will remember the good times .I did not see him very much lately, but I will never forget him. Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend the services because I will be out of town. Rest in peace Mr. Wright
Dear Wright family, we are thinking of you you today and hope that you’re remembering all the good times to help you during your time of grief. Charlie was a kind and generous man and we will miss him.
My sympathy to the Wright family. I knew Charlie from the teamsters. He was such a nice man. I am sure you have many happy memories. I know his teamster colleagues do.
I was very saddened to hear of Charlie's passing. I knew him for many years through the Teamsters Union and the retirees. He was a fantastic person and the best president of the retirees club. He did so much for the food pantries. He was just a great guy and was always pleasure to call him "brother teamster". RIP Brother.
