Dr. Von changed my life. He was an excellent supervisor and psychologist. He was honest and hilarious. I had hoped to work with him again someday. I miss him and hope his family is doing well.

My name is shelly. My nephew and I went to many therapy sessions with Carl. He was able to build my nephew up and encourage him in the darkest hours. He helped me to stick to boundaries and to be an encouragement at the same time. He had a gift, a heart for the hurting, a sense of humor and he was so kind. He mentioned his family and his wife in many occasions in such posative ways.my nephew tried to be tough but Carl got they his leather wall. He made him laugh and smile. He gave him hope for tomorrow. It takes a special person to reach out and to reach teens. I am grateful and blessed because of Carl’s heart.thabku fir all of u as I am sure it took patience and understanding knowing what he was up against. I am sorry that he suffered so.

Oh, Dr. Bob, the kids at Hutchings will miss you. I worked with you as an RN there for a short while. Thanks for all you did for the children, but also for being my comic relief in a frequently very serious place. It was the unending staff meetings that generated the comedy and we were on the same wavelength often enough that we could not make eye contact for fear of cracking up.
