To the Extended McKinley family,
I was a classmate of Ken's at Bishop Ludden High School. He was a genuine person and one of the "nice guys " from the South Side.
He was a remarkable athlete and basketball player , becoming one of the youngest players along with Clark Cavanaugh to play as freshman on the Varsity basketball team coached by Terry Quigley. They won the state championship in 1969 at the War Memorial, with every student in our class attending the game. May God Bless "The Beast", a name planted on him prior to his arrival at the Ludden campus. He will be missed but remembered at our upcoming 50th Class Reunion on July 17-18, 2020.
RIP my friend on your Spiritual; Journey and Our prayers are with you and your family at this time of your departure-Keep Smiling!

Here is a group of SU fans gathered with Ken a few years ago at our greatly missed friend Mike Savage’s house. Ken loved SU sports and could tell you the rosters, MVPs and greatest games of about every team. He was both a great athlete and avid sports fan.
RIP Beast
