Bless you and your family, Sue, as Bill has received the ultimate blessing. You now know what this moment and the moments to follow mean. All I can say about the remarkable life and love you and Bill continue to share is a Spanish phrase Marta taught me and that we continue to tell each other every day, even as she and Bill have both transitioned to new life with the Lord: Contigo Siempre (With You Always). Blessings - Peter DeBlois

Dear Susan and all of the loving members of Bill's family, please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences. Bill was a SPECIAL man and Marine; he will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him! As you know, Bill had the honor of serving at the Marine Barracks, 8th & I Streets, S.E., Washington, DC (the oldest active post in the Corps). There, he was assigned to the Ceremonial Guard Company, 3rd Platoon / Silent Drill Platoon, during the years of 1958-1961.In addition to performing many ceremonial duties, including military funerals at Arlington National Cemetery, he also provided security for President Dwight D. Eisenhower. For more information about Bill's 8th & I assignment, please visit, www.8thandi.com. Rest in peace, Bill! Well done, Marine! God Bless Susan and all of the loving members of Bill's family! ...... John T. Reim, 8th & I Marine, Ceremonial Guard Company, Silent Drill Platoon, 1958-1961, Franklinville, NJ "Semper Fidelis"

RIP my friend. I truly enjoyed our talks and spending time with you. A wealth of information, you always brought a smile to my face (especially fun to learn how MUCH we have in common)! May the treadmills in heaven be more fun than the treadmills at PF. We will speak of you often and miss you at the lake this summer ((raising a glass in your honor)). Love, Martha
