Obituary of Kathleen A. Tynan

Kathleen A. Tynan, 75, of Syracuse passed away on November 23, 2021. Kathy was born on June 30, 1946 in Syracuse, NY.  She was a graduate of St. Patrick's High School and LeMoyne College. Kathy was a grade school teacher, having worked at Walberta Road, Cherry Road Elementary and St. Charles Borromeo Schools. She was a long and active member of St. Patrick Church. Kathy loved being with her friends and traveling.  Kathy was a kind, loving, and giving person who never forgot anyone. 

 

She was predeceased by her parents, Daniel and Jane Tynan, and her sister, Jane Ellen Tynan. 

 

Kathy is survived by her brothers, Dr. Daniel R. (Lori) Tynan, Jr. of Lexington, KY and Mark C. (Carol) Tynan of Las Vegas, 8 nieces and nephews, 6 grand nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

 

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 9:30am at St. Patrick’s Church, Tipperary Hill.  Calling hours will be on Friday, Dec. 3rd from 4 to 7pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.

 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Patrick Church Food Bank: 216 N. Lowell Ave., Syracuse, NY 13204.
