Sean, I'm saddened to see that Bill passed away. I still remember the day that Bill and my uncle Jim McCracken loaded up the car and took off to California. Before they took out, we went to the Caravel Ice Cream store up on West Genesse Street and got a milkshake before they hit the road. They were best friends when they were younger, and they both came back from California together and Bill stayed, and my uncle James went back. I have so many good memories of Bill as I always looked up to him. He took me rock climbing a few times with him and man he was good at it. I remember when I was old enough to drink, he stopped by the house and picked me up and we went to the Old Coleman's and had a few beers together and he told me a bunch of stories about his travels with my uncle and just life in general. Remember that little dog "Champ" that he used to walk every night with a cup of coffee in his hand after dinner. The last time I saw him was when I was home taking care of my son Michael while he was passing from cancer and man it was great to see him. I always had a great deal of respect for Bill and am thankful that I knew him and am sure he'll be sorely missed by many.
