We are so sorry for your loss.

I would love to share about my visit with your Dad.
It was an special time together.
Of which I will treasure forever.
I live in Huntsville, Alabama and wanted to visit family in Syracuse. The Lord gave me the opportunity to fly up for a visit. This was a month before Uncle Van’s passing.
I went to visit Uncle Van and it was an amazing time. He recognized me. We talked about things from our past, talked about family.
We laughed and even cried.
We talked about his mistakes and regrets.
He talked about how proud he was of you Tommy, Angie and Sofia.
As we talked about God and Jesus.
Uncle Van was focused and listened.
It was something to see.
I shared the Gospel with Uncle Van. About God’s love and forgiveness. His temperament started to change. He went from a serious look to a peaceful look. Even laughing. It was so cool, so God.
Uncle Van met Jesus that day.
He welcomed prayer and we talked to Jesus.
We had an amazing time together.
There is always hope,

On behalf Frank and I and the Danas family we extend our deepest sympathies. We are so very sorry for the loss of your father.
We have many fond memories of Theio and Dad during our visits. Garden ( "kipo") talk between the two of them was a regular topic as were their views on life - and we know they both had views on just about everything....
