I am very sorry to hear the news of Maryanne’s passing. She was such a sweet person and I enjoyed our many conversations after church at MHR. She was a favorite of my parents!!!!! God bless and rest in peace.❤️

So sorry to hear of Maryanne's passing. I have known the Lorenz/Horton family since 1974, when I met Tom at LeMoyne College in a Freshman Religion Class. Within several months, I was invited to the family home where I met Maryanne and the rest of the family. I guess I passed the test with Mrs. Lorenz and Barb. That would be 49 years ago this fall. Maryanne was a wonderful and caring person with that curious smile.
As Tom and I became good friends and college roommates for part of a winter semester as seniors, that friendship continued not only with him after graduation in 1978, but with the Lorenz and Horton families. When I first met the family, I realized that Pat Horton, was Mrs. Horton, my study hall teacher, while I was in 11th grade at Henninger High School. So began a friendship that has lasted for almost 50 years. More than a friendship, I became part of the family. When I retired in 2012 and moved to Sarasota, I made it a point to visit when I came up for a visit.
As Maryanne became ill, I would send her photos of my dog, MAXIE. She loved getting pictures and cards. We will all miss Maryanne very much. I am sure that there are many that will cherish memories of their friendship with Marryanne, as I will.
My thoughts and prayers are with Bill, Tom & Patty, Pat & Larry and their families.
Love,

In the years we taught together, Maryanne was a colleague I looked so forward to seeing each morning; she could always brighten the day with a smile and a twinkle in her eyes. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.
