There was a time when our friend Ann Barnes, Dick, and I would meet at Burnet Park in the morning a couple times a week and walk our dogs. Ann’s dog was Teddy, my dog was Valentino, and I don’t remember the name of Dick’s yellow lab but when his dog saw us, he would jump 2-3 feet in the air in excitement. So funny! We parked near the pool, walk around the road by the ball fields, walk up to the golf course office, back down where we all parked near the pool. We said “Have a good day. See you tomorrow “ and went our separate ways. It was a great way to start our day! I will always have this pleasant memory!
